Week 19’s task of 50 Weeks to a Lighter More Loving You is…
Do You Know….WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
This week pull out that journal, notebook, or scrap of paper (that you might want to put in a journal or notebook!!), and make a list of what makes you happy.
You know that journal, notebook or scraps of paper that you used to write down…
it’s time to pull it out again!
The intention of this post is not to give a big shout out to the importance of
JOURNALING to a Lighter More Loving You, though it’s tempting because it is SOOOO IMPORTANT!
If you haven’t been journaling, I strongly, with great vigor, and wholeheartedly, urge, spur, and inspire you to do so!
This week, set a timer for 10 minutes, get out (or go get that journal) and list WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!
I’ll share in the CHECK IN what researchers who have been studying “happy people” for over a decade, say aids in our happiness.

Checking in for Week 17‘s task, which was to GO WITH THE COWLICK…the thing you can not change or is resisting change.
The thing that JUST IS!
To let yourself off the hook of straightening it out or of fighting for it to be some other way…especially if it something you can not change…like having a COWLICK!
I was told many years ago
the minute I stop fighting what is, things will change!
That was so true in many areas of my life!
what weight I was
what level I was in my business
wishing I was not divorced
not wanting to live where I was
certain aspects of my body that just are
relationships I was in
the cowlicks that I have!
When I ACCEPTED HOW THINGS WERE, things began to change.
relationships…with others and myself.
The biggest change was in my MIND and HAPPINESS LEVEL!
There was so much more peace, kindness, and gentleness.
Anytime I catch myself fighting or even wishing something was different, I remember my COWLICKS! I see them everyday!
The COWLICKS are there.
That is just how it is.
Go with them.

Your task was to WRITE OUT your SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDIOUS (extraordinarily good and wonderful) DAY. It can be a past day or your dream day…or both!
Currently, signs that say,
“Today is a perfect day to have a perfect day!”
seem to be quite popular. I see them everywhere!
Wondering if PERFECT DAY is the same as a SUPERCALI…etc. Day? I think so!
One of the words in a thesaurus for PERFECT is AUTHENTIC!
What do you think of when you think of this word AUTHENTIC?
In Week 16’s blog I said that writing out your SUPERCALI…etc. days will help find keys to a lighter, more loving you.
What may be discovered is that those best, perfect, awesome, wonderful days are when you are truly yourself, when you are AUTHENTIC, REAL, TRUE TO YOU.
This is living…
from what you value,
from what you are about, from what you truly believe,
when you do what you say you will do,
when you trust yourself,
when you choose love over fear,
when your best self comes through.
This can be done while relaxing on the beach with your pina colada or when attending your best friend’s funeral. SUPERCALI…ect. days aren’t always “happy”. They can still be AUTHENTIC, PERFECT, EXTRAORDINARILY GOOD and WONDERFUL.
Review what you wrote in regards to your SUPERCALI…etc. day(s). Can you see some of your values? What is authentic, true and your “best self” coming through in that day(s)? Feel free to share in the comments!

Have you had a SUPERCALI…etc Day? What made it so extraordinary to you?
Take time this week and write out your extraordinarily good and wonderful day. It can be a past day or your dream day…or both!
When would you wake?
What would you eat?
What would you do?
Who would you be with?
How would you feel?
How would you be BEING?
Write out as much detail as possible.
I’ve had many SUPERCALI…etc Days. All have been so different, but there have been certain elements that have been the same.
Writing out your past or dream extraordinarily wonderful days will help you find YOUR KEYS to a lighter more loving you.
